B. James Britton
President and Chief Executive Officer
B. James Britton was President and Chief Executive Officer of Urbco from 1998 to the time of its reorganization in May 2002 as Northern Property REIT. Prior to joining Urbco, Mr. Britton was the founder and Chairman of Ninety North Group of Companies. He served as Vice Chair of the Northwest Territories Power Corporation from 1988 to 1995. Mr. Britton was Deputy Minister of Economic Development for the NWT from 1983 to 1985 and served as Baffin Regional Director for the Government of the NWT for Iqaluit from 1979 to 1983.
Alan Vaughan
Vice President, Business Development
Alan Vaughan joined Northern Property REIT in the fall of 2002. He has more than 20 years experience in government and business across northern Canada. Mr. Vaughan leads NP REIT's program of acquiring existing property and developing new facilities.
Richard Anda
Vice President, Operations
Richard Anda joined Northern Property REIT in 2003 as Asset Manager. Previously with Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation in various positions, he brings 15 years of real estate and property management experience to the REIT. Mr. Anda holds an Urban Land Economics Diploma and is a Certified Property Manager with the Real Estate Institute of Canada.
Todd Cook
Chief Financial Officer
Todd Cook was Chief Financial Officer of Calgary based TGS North American REIT which was purchased by a subsidiary of The Great-West Life Assurance Company in June, 2006. He possesses a Bachelor of Administration from the University of Regina and received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1993. Mr.Cook was Vice President, Finance of Northern Property REIT from November 2006 until May 1, 2007 when he was appointed as Chief Financial Officer. |

Douglas H. Mitchell, Q.C.
Douglas H. Mitchell, Q.C. is the National Co-Chairman and regional managing partner of the Calgary office of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. Mr. Mitchell is a director of EPCOR Utilities Inc. and several other public companies. Mr. Mitchell was Commissioner of the Canadian Football League from 1984 to 1985. He is also the Chairman of the Alberta Economic Development Authority.

Kenn Harper
Kenn Harper was a founder of a number of the real estate holding companies which Urbco acquired in 1998. He was a Vice-President and a Director of Urbco. He is also the President and owner of High Arctic Management Services Ltd., which has property, hotel, retail and management interests in the Baffin region of Nunavut. He is a past president of the Iqaluit Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Nunavut Historical Advisory Board.
C. Donald Wilson
C. Donald Wilson is a founding shareholder of Urbco. Mr. Wilson is a former President of Engineered Homes Ltd. and Vice President of Genstar. Mr. Wilson is a past president of the Housing and Urban Development Association of Canada.
John C. Charles
John C. Charles is President, CEO and a Director of ATX Incorporated, a Canadian based private company focused on manufacturing, supply and services of products to the cable and broadcast industries, both in North America and abroad. He is a Director of Prism Medical Ltd., a TSX Venture Exchange company that produces durable medical products for the mobility challenged. Mr. Charles' business career has spanned 35 years and has included general management, financial, corporate finance experience in the real estate, mining, resource and power, manufacturing and capital market industries. Mr. Charles is a graduate of Queen's University with a degree in Mathematics and Statistics and is a Chartered Accountant with standing in the Canadian and Ontario Institutes.
Dennis G. Patterson
Dennis G. Patterson was Premier of the Northwest Territories from 1987 to 1991. He has served as a Director of the Northwest Territories Law Foundation and as Chair of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut Legal Services Board until 2000. Since 2001, Mr. Patterson has acted as a private consultant. He is a member of the Law Society of Nunavut.
Dennis J. Hoffman
Dennis J. Hoffman retired as office managing partner and member of the Canadian Leadership Group from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in July of 2005 after more than 35 years in public practice. Mr. Hoffman is an Alberta Institute lecturer, member of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD), and a task force member of the Petroleum Accountants Society. Mr. Hoffman graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a BComm and a BSc, and is a member of the Canadian and Alberta Institutes of Chartered Accountants.
Kabir Jivraj
Dr. Kabir Jivraj is a Founding Director of AgeCare Investments Ltd. He has been a clinical professor at the University of Calgary, Faculty of Medicine, since July 2001 and has taught undergraduate and graduate students at U of C since 1988. Previously, Dr. Jivraj was the Senior Vice-President and Chief Medical Officer of the Calgary Health Region and the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Jivraj served as the President of the Alberta Medical Association in 1996/1997 and also served as the Honorary Treasurer of the Canadian Medical Association. Currently, he is the Chair of the Board of the United Way of Calgary and Area, Chair of Focus Humanitarian Assistance Canada, a member of the Board of the Calgary Health Trust and a member of Siemens Canada Limited Health Care Advisory Council. |
