Urbco Inc. founders commenced business in the north.

1986
The ‘Ninety North Group’ developed ‘Iqaluit House’.

1991
Urbco Inc. publicly listed.

1998
Urbco Inc. and the Ninety North Group of Companies merge.

1999
Urbco Inc. acquires a large block of income properties in Iqaluit, the new capital of Nunavut.

2000
Urbco Inc. is listed on the TSE (UBC); through development and acquisitions, becomes the largest private sector holder of rental real estate in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut

May 2002
Urbco files a plan of reorganization; the land development and construction divisions become NewNorth Projects Ltd., and is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange as NNP; the rental properties are sold to Northern Properties REIT and listed on the TSX as NPR.UN.
