Regional Manager (in training)
The intent of this position is to permanently relocate, after sufficient training, and manage a portfolio as the regional Property Manager. This position reports into the Senior Property Manager.
The Regional Manager (in training) is to be trained in Calgary as well as travel to various regions for training and experience. The travel will generally have you out of Calgary approximately three (3) weeks at a time. During this training period housing and reasonable business expenses, including but not limited to food, car rental etc, will be covered by NPR. Once a permanent relocation is decided upon living expenses will be your responsibility.
The primary role of the Regional Property Manager is to design, recommend and implement the management for their portfolio. The following duties will be achieved during and upon completion of the training period:
- Promote “excellence” in residential property team management relations.
- Ensuring effective management of the buildings in your region to ensure company standards are met, and vacancy is kept at a minimum level
- Oversee the training programs for your region, and develop team through performance management and motivation.
- Review NOI on all properties to assure effective expense control and operating costs.
- Design and develop systems to maximize cash flow for the properties.
- Optimize properties value and return on investment.
- Conducts physical inspections of the property; and direct maintenance, grounds and custodial staff in meeting established property physical standards.
- Preparing and following annual budgets

This position requires relocation, and as such, applicants should be willing to make this move after 6 months of training.
