B. James Britton
Chief Executive Officer
B. James Britton was President and Chief Executive Officer of Urbco from 1998 to the time of its reorganization in May 2002 as Northern Property REIT. Prior to joining Urbco, Mr. Britton was the founder and Chairman of Ninety North Group of Companies. He served as Vice Chair of the Northwest Territories Power Corporation from 1988 to 1995. Mr. Britton was Deputy Minister of Economic Development for the NWT from 1983 to 1985 and served as Baffin Regional Director for the Government of the NWT for Iqaluit from 1979 to 1983.
Todd Cook
President and Chief Operating Officer
Todd Cook was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer in January 2013. Mr. Cook was previously the Executive Vice President of Northern Property REIT, appointed in January 2011. Mr. Cook joined Northern Property REIT in November 2006 as Vice President, Finance, and became Chief Financial Officer on May 1, 2007. Previously, he was Chief Financial Officer of Calgary based TGS North American REIT which was purchased by a subsidiary of The Great-West Life Assurance Company in June, 2006. He possesses a Bachelor of Administration from the University of Regina and received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1993.
Robert Palmer
Chief Financial Officer
Robert Palmer was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Northern Property REIT in January 2013. Previously, Mr. Palmer was the Vice President, Controller of WestJet Airlines Ltd. in Calgary from 2007 to 2012, and Director, Accounting with Molson Coors Canada in Montreal and Toronto from 2003 to 2007. He possesses a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Manitoba and received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1999.
Richard Anda
Vice President, Business Development
Richard Anda was appointed Vice President, Business Development, of Northern Property REIT in January, 2011. Mr. Anda joined Northern Property REIT in 2003 as Asset Manager and was appointed as Vice President, Operations in 2004. Previously with Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation in various positions, he brings 15 years of real estate and property management experience to the REIT. Mr. Anda holds an Urban Land Economics Diploma and is a Certified Property Manager with the Real Estate Institute of Canada.
Trustees
Douglas H. Mitchell, Q.C.
Douglas H. Mitchell, Q.C. is the National Co-Chairman of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. He was previously also the regional managing partner of the Calgary office of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. Mr. Mitchell is a director of EPCOR Utilities Inc. and several other public companies. Mr. Mitchell was Commissioner of the Canadian Football League from 1984 to 1985.

Kenn Harper
Kenn Harper was a founder of a number of the real estate holding companies which Urbco acquired in 1998. He was a Vice-President and a Director of Urbco. He is also the President and owner of High Arctic Management Services Ltd., which has property, hotel, retail and management interests in the Baffin region of Nunavut. He is a past president of the Iqaluit Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Nunavut Historical Advisory Board.
Dennis J. Hoffman
Dennis J. Hoffman retired as office managing partner and member of the Canadian Leadership Group from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in July of 2005 after more than 35 years in public practice. Mr. Hoffman is an Alberta Institute lecturer, member of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD), and a task force member of the Petroleum Accountants Society. Mr. Hoffman graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a BComm and a BSc, and is a member of the Canadian and Alberta Institutes of Chartered Accountants.
The Honourable Dennis G. Patterson
Dennis G. Patterson was Premier of the Northwest Territories from 1987 to 1991. He has served as a Director of the Northwest Territories Law Foundation and as Chair of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut Legal Services Board until 2000. Since 2001, Mr. Patterson has acted as a private consultant. He is a member of the Law Society of Nunavut. In 2009, Mr. Patterson was appointed to the Canadian Senate.
Christine McGinley
Christine McGinley was former senior vice president, operations, of Canwest Broadcasting until her retirement in 2010. She is currently a board member of Canada Health Infoway and Tbaytel since 2010. Ms. McGinley holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta, and a Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta.
C. Donald Wilson
C. Donald Wilson is a founding shareholder of Urbco. Mr. Wilson is a former President of Engineered Homes Ltd. and Vice President of Genstar. Mr. Wilson is a past president of the Housing and Urban Development Association of Canada.
